The country is blessed with fertilized lands especially around the volcano area, where the lava from past eruptions makes up for much of the nutrients in the soil. Costa Rica now attracts tourists worldwide who simply love to soak up the sun on the pristine beaches of this tropical paradise.

The best time to visit Costa Rica would be right after Christmas, where the dry weather will start all through April but May marks the start of a long rainy season right through November. It is only a few miles from the equator, so select the right time to vacation here. Tourists should be aware of possible natural disasters and to choose who they tour with carefully; many Americans have gone missing in foreign lands because they go off with people they don't know very well.
